Business meeting plus presentation to non-Mark Masons, 2nd February 2024 at the Masonic Hall, Poulton Le Fylde. | |
The WM, WBro. Andrew Stansfield welcomed everybody and opened the Lodge, 18 Brethren were present. | |
WBro. Paul Smedley (Cleveleys Mark Master in office) acted as Inner Guard for the meeting. | |
WBro. Steve James Prov GSD (EL) a recent joining member of Fylde Mark Lodge, a convert from over the border at the East side of the county, acted as Senior Overseer. | |
A period of reflection was held for WBro. David Winder APGM. | |
The WM worked through the business and invested a number of Officers who couldn’t be present at the Installation meeting. | |
A ballot was held for an honorary member; WBro. John Moss PProvGSO, which was carried unanimously. | |

After the Lodge was closed, three non-Mark Masons were brought into the Lodge room, where WBro. Shaun Haynes gave a presentation on Mark Masonry and extolled its various virtues and how enjoyable it is to be a Mark Mason. | |

A lively discussion and good craic ensued at the Festive board accompanied by a 3-course meal of Soup, chicken and bread and butter pudding. | |
A raffle organized by WBro. Clive Gitsham (a Fyfe fiddle) raised £106! | |
All the non-Mark Masons seemed to enjoy the evening: presentation and festive board and went away with the requisite forms. Watch this space for news of advancements! | |
